Veri1 is a secure platform that helps property managers, landlords and other businesses verify the identity, credit, and background of tenants or buyers.

Veri1 is designed for property managers, landlords, real estate agents and other businesses that need to evaluate applicants. Consumers (tenants or buyers) access Veri1 via evaluation link only after giving their consent.

No. Veri1 is not a credit bureau. We are a reseller and technology provider that securely connects with trusted credit and data partners like Equifax, Transunion or iDenfy.

Yes. Veri1 operates in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other consumer protection laws.

Consumers have the right to know what is in their report, dispute inaccurate information and receive a Notice of Rights if adverse action is taken based on the report.

Veri1 uses encryption, multi-factor authentication, and secure cloud servers located in the USA.

For Individuals:

You received a link because a property manager or landlord you applied to has asked Veri1 to verify your identity and financial background. This happens only with your consent.

You will need to share basic personal details, your current address, upload a valid ID document and make a selfie. You may also be asked for your Social Security Number (SSN) to access your credit file.

Yes. All necessary data is encrypted and stored on secured servers in the USA with strict access controls.

No. Tenant evaluations performed through Veri1 are treated as “soft inquiries” and do not lower your credit score.

Yes. You can file a dispute if you believe there is an error. Veri1 and our data partners will investigate in line with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). 

No. Veri1 only uses consumer data for the purpose of performing the requested evaluation and never sells or uses data for marketing.

For Enterprise:

Understand how to use Veri1 to screen tenants or buyers, access reports, and stay compliant with legal requirements.

After signing an agreement with Veri1, you can log in to the platform, enter the tenant’s details and request an evaluation.

Reports (downloadable in PDF) can include identity verification, credit reports, employment & income verification and court record checks depending on your subscription and the applicant’s consent.

Reports are available for secure download for a limited time (usually 12 months) to protect consumer privacy.

No. Reports are provided for authorized use only and must not be shared outside of your organization or used for other purposes.
